The Tutorial Center
The Tutorial Center was established ten years ago to serve famlies in the Waynesboro and Augusta County area. We are excited to announce that we are now expanding into Albermarle County.
Mary Robinson, the Tutorial Center founder, firmly believes that individualized instruction can be the key to discovering and clearing up the confusions that impede progress in the classroom.
Her first step is to assess your child's academic skills, through testing and conversations with both you and your child. The center also works in conjuction with each child's teachers and schools. Next a tailor-made lesson plan will be developed for your child to help him or her attain pre-determined educational goals.
Parents have come to us with a variety concerns about their children. These include poor grades, learning disabilities, and poor organizational and study skills. The center works with elementary, middle school and high school students in the acquisition of reading, reading comprehension, writing, phonics and spelling, study techniques, organizational skills, and math.
